I was writing articles without a recourse to SEO and so my articles never ranked, and for 3 years I was throwing money without making a dime out of it.

Then a friend told me about Search Engine Optimization, which he says would help my posts get discovered on search engines. To me he was speaking German, certainly not English.

However, the whole process of trying to learn how to do things the right way got me frustrated at myself as I kept failing to grasp the concept of internet marketing.

This frustration led me to throw in the towel and left the digital space for 3 years to work in Physical Security. A move I regretted till this day.

Unrealistic expectations: If you set unrealistic expectations for yourself it can lead to frustration when you do not meet them.

Some people will go out and read someone’s overnight success story on social media, and you know the media often neglects the years of toiling and hardwork in the trenches. If you read this story on a face value and you think you can achieve the same feat overnight, you are definitely setting yourself up for frustration and perhaps failure.

Other people’s Interference: Sometimes, other people’s interference can lead to a frustrating condition.

For example, if you are trying to get something done and someone is constantly interrupting you, it can be frustrating.

Some countries experience chronic environmental conditions like hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods. Citizens of such countries where these natural disasters occurs are bound to feel frustrated

Life events: Frustration can also be caused by major life events, such as job loss, divorce, or the death of a loved one.

Physical symptoms: Frustration can cause physical symptoms, such as increased heart rate, sweating,  muscle tension, hypertension and premature aging.

Emotional symptoms: Frustration can also cause emotional symptoms, such as anger, sadness, depression, anxiety, greed and excessive use of sex and alcohol intake as a means of escape.

Behavioral symptoms: Frustration can also manifest as behavioral symptoms, such as aggression, withdrawal, or procrastination and issues related to mental health.

I remembered some years ago, I was going through the toughest time of my life. I was sick, homeless and always fidgety. I realized however, that if I stood any chance of surviving my ordeal I have to take a break from myself and everything causing me pain.

I relocated to a rural area where I was close to nature. To say the least I got the idea that got me out of the brink when I synced with nature and the beauty around me.
